Senmatic A/S - Company of the year on Nordfyn
Senmatic A/S was elected Company of the Year on February 10th by the trade council on Nordfyn in Bogense.
From financial crisis to surplus
The award was presented at the annual general meeting of the trade council of Nordfyn and Senmatic was rewarded for its ability to turn the development and replace the deficit in 2009, the year of financial crisis, with a profit.
The company was severely affected by the financial crisis with a decrease in the turnover of more than 30 mio. and ended the financial year 2009 with a loss of 2 mio. DKK. But in the following year Senmatic turned the development around and achieved a profit.
Birger Munter, trade promotion officer in Nordfyn Trade states:
"The election of Senmatic is among other reasons due to their
ability to innovate and seek new opportunities in the global
competition. We acknowledge the energy of the measures taken to
deal with the consequences of the financial crisis. In spite of
considerable reductions, the company has been able to maintain a
favourable personnel policy. This quick conduct has not only turned
a deficit into a profit but also resulted in more new jobs at
Senmatic A/S.
