For extreme temperatures and harsh environments, for maximum protection and reliability.
MI sensors are built for applications where standard sensors fall short. Whether operating in high-vibration environments, areas with elevated moisture exposure or installations requiring marine-approved solutions, mineral insulated sensors deliver the protection and measurement integrity your application demands.
Our mineral insulated temperature sensors feature both thermocouples and resistance thermometers. MI sensors are normally used for temperature measurement between -270°C / -454°F and 1600°C / 2912°F, depending on sheath material and choice of element.
Long-length sensors, especially for low-temperature applications, also typically require mineral insulated sheaths to avoid joints and ensure best conductivity.
Depending on the application, mineral insulated temperature sensors are available in 2-wire, 3-wire, 4-wire, simplex and duplex configurations.
The sensors are manufactured in different sheath materials and dimensions, with compressed Magnesium Oxide (MgO) powder inside to ensure excellent thermal conductivity and an airtight environment against moisture.
Senmatic has developed and delivered precision temperature sensors since 1975. Our MI sensors are engineered to meet the demands of critical industrial environments, backed by documented calibration, relevant certifications and the financial stability of the Indutrade Group.
